MID Project For the mid project, we were given a task to make a podcast  of two books that we had chosen ourselves. The first book i choose is 'I Am Enough', and the other book is L ove Yourself Like Your Life Depends on It. The duration of podcast i've made is about 3 minutes long. During this project, i had a hard time on my vocal delivery. But i could go through it because i followed a few suggestions i've read in the PDF of this project. There things were help me a lot. However, I really enjoyed making this project because i was able to share why i love these books and i got a new experience, make a podcast. So i could improve my vocal delivery skill and imboost my confidence. Thanks and see you on my next blog:)

Main Idea For the seventh meeting we learned about the main idea. A main idea is important information that tells more about the overall idea of a paragraph or section of a text. We discussed about how to find the main idea in the paragraph, after that we are divided into several groups to completing the given task. After the virtual meeting, as usual we did some exercise in syam-ok. Thanks and see you on my next blog:)

Fourth Meeting  At the fourth meeting, this meeting was different from the previous one, we used OneNote Class Notebook for our virtual meetings.  We discussed this assignment and discuss the book we selected. What's interesting for me about this platform is its functions such as note paper, where you can write, draw, enter objects, doodle, display screenshots, leave comments, and share them with friends.  We also learn about Vocabulary Knowledge for Effective Reading, such as guessing unknown vocabulary and guessing meaning from context in sentences.  Vocabulary is an essential skill for learning to read and write, and vocabulary strategies are necessary when students are “reading to learn.” Thanks and see you on my next blog:)

Previewing & Predicting Third meeting was about Previewing and Predicting some readings, and yes Previewing and Predicting are also a part of reading strategies. Previewing and predicting are two skills that are essential for a good reader. Previewing means you gather information about a book by examining its cover. Previewing is also help you to predict about what is in the book. Preview and Predicting help you read and understand better. This is because you already thinking about what you will read. Thanks and see you on my next blog:)

Scanning This is the second meeting interpretative reading. Our lecturer gave us an assignment, scanning.  Scanning is a reading technique to be used when you want to find specific information quickly. In scanning you have a question in your mind and you read a passage only to find the answer, ignoring unrelated information. Scanning might seem like a reading approach that yields less information, but scanning is an important first step in reading comprehension. Scanning prior to reading can help me understand the main points of the article.  Thanks for reading, see you on my next blog:)
